The company hand selects only the best materials to be crafted into its table tops. We suggest that customers wishing to purchase a marble or stone table top arrange a meeting with us to view a wide selection of different materials.

Every table top supplied by Artifex London is specially treated against staining by oil or wine as well as being proofed with a water resisting agent, so that they are suitable for outside use. Quality, hand-made covers in a breathable, waterproof fabric designed to protect against rain and severe winters, are available to order. The company specialises in supplying aged travertine tops which have a dappled, uneven surface and which, although polished, are not taken to a mirror finish. Artifex London specialises in supplying travertine and marble table tops from Italy. The majority of these are supplied by Dolomya®. Artifex London also prides itself on its ability to source any material currently available, including a number of highly sought-after, exotic materials such as the Lapis Andino illustrated in the products section of this website. The company is happy to arrange visits for its clients to the marble yards so that individual slabs can be chosen if so required. Where this is not possible, photographs of specific individual slabs will be provided. The company will provide care instructions for cleaning and maintenance of all stone products.
